Thank you for visiting my website. I am a contemporary acrylic and oil painter who was born in Vancouver and have spent my life on the West Coast. After raising my family and taking early retirement in 2008 I decided to pursue my dream of painting. Always a lover of the visual arts it was a natural progression and I have learned a great deal from classes taken locally and from searching the internet. Because art is fantasy and things can be how we want them to be, I like to take an everday scene and put my own colourful spin on it. Right now I am painting a series of landscapes and cityscapes. My paintings are in private collections in Canada, U.S., Europe and Australia. My smaller works are for sale on ETSY. I live with my husband, who is also my favourite art critic, in Coquitlam. |
